Playa Venao Cafe & Roastery opened in January 2017 to bring artisan-roasted specialty coffee to the community of Playa Venao and its guests. We are coffee professionals supporting the new wave of coffee culture in Panama. We love coffee and understand the fine art of the roasting process and what a great cup of coffee means to our customers.
In our bar we offer espresso based drinks and different filter coffees. We roast our coffee onsite and only source high quality specialty Panamanian coffees from Boquete and Volcan from farmers who maintain sustainable practices, building on generations of experience and responding to new and ethical methods in coffee farming.
In addition to roasting and brewing a damn good cup of coffee for our customers, our purpose is to also build a forum for sharing a passion for coffee in a special setting. Guest international baristas and roasters exchange their knowledge and skills they have acquired abroad with local Panama coffee enthusiasts and get to take a part of Panama with them to share with the rest of the world on the next leg of their coffee journey.
