We are proud to be the home of the original Surfer’s hostel in Playa Venao. This is the result of the restoration of the original 50-year-old farmhouse, which required vast amounts of patience and dedication. The time and love that has been put into the lodge can be felt the minute you enter it and is often commented on by guests.
Dorms
The main bedroom is a dormitory-style room with bunk beds that can accommodate up to eight guests. The airy wood structure, ceiling fans, and comfortable quality mattresses make this the perfect resting place after a long day of surfing, horse-back riding, exploring, or simply hammocking in one of the Lodge’s many lounging areas.
Private rooms
In the same building, there are also two simple double bedrooms, affording couples or individuals a greater degree of privacy; and two Family Rooms, each one with a double bed and two single beds.
The Lodge’s friendly housekeeper keeps the shared bathrooms and showers impeccably clean at all times. When staying at the hostel, you will also have access to the fully equipped shared kitchen.
Even though the hostel area is shared and the bedrooms are next to each other, this tends to be a quiet place.
We do not take reservations for dorm beds and allocate them on a first come first served basis but email us before you arrive and we will try to save a bed for you. The private rooms can be reserved.
Please know that pets are not allowed at any of the hostel areas.
