We are two students from the research institute AgroParisTech. Specialized in environmental management and engineering, we are on a gap year which offers us a unique opportunity to test and use the field skills we learnt at University.
Everything started when an older student spoke highly of his time at EcoVenao’s Permaculture project. We investigate the place was located in the tropics on the pacific slope, at 100m of a famous surf spot… it fitted perfectly! We took the opportunity and directly contacted the head of the project, Guillaume. Positions were available and he was looking for students to gain a campus taste at the project. He asked us to produce pedagogic content on multiple subjects following permaculture principle. It was our first lesson, permaculture is also about education.
