Casa Oruga Kindergarten
At Casa Oruga, we tailor our approach to each child’s unique needs and strengths. Our focus is on process-oriented learning, promoting self-regulation and identity development through clear and loving boundaries. We integrate methods such as pretend play, sensory activities, human-animal interaction, and elements from art, gardening, sports, and music. Our approach respects all individuals, regardless of heritage, sexual orientation, or religion.
The Best of Both Worlds
By combining Montessori’s emphasis on independent learning with Waldorf’s focus on imitation and rhythm, Casa Oruga offers a holistic educational environment. Montessori materials stimulate curiosity and autonomy, while Waldorf education integrates creative development and structured routines, ensuring balanced and predictable daily rhythms.
Casa Oruga is a fully equipped Kidergarten. We spend part of the day at Casa Origa and the rest of the day at the beautiful natural areas around Eco Venao , including the ‘famous’ pirate ship, playground at the beach, the permaculture farm, and the lovely forest trails.
Led by Nilufar Asmaeli, an experienced social worker with over a decade of Waldorf education expertise,
Our program runs weekdays from 8 am to 2:30 pm, for childfren 18 months to 4 years old and it includes snacks and lunch.
For our guests who come for a holiday and would like for their children to join, they are welcome to do so. We do drop in daily prices.
