We are very happy to announce the re-opening of our restaurant “Los Sombreros”. Because we want our guests to experience not only the beauty of this country, but also its flavours, our menu is an invitation to experience Panamanian cuisine and it’s traditional dishes.
We serve different local traditional dishes called “comida del día” every day for lunch. These meals vary in the type of meat or fish offered, but are always served with rice and beans or lentils.
For dinner, we have a different special every night (usually seafood) and also offer a menu with some favourites from over the years, such as fried whole fish and our legendary beef burgers. We also have our permaculture salad and lentil burgers as vegetarian options.
We feel very proud to be able to include organic produce from our Permaculture farm. Eggs, cassava, plantains, salad leaves (saril, moringa & katuk), cucumbers, bananas, papayas, amongst others are all grown organically and harvested every day at the farm.
Our bread and desserts are also homemade. We recommend you to try our delicious traditional rice pudding and if you have kids they will definitely love the chocolate cake! Even the natural yogurt in our popular smoothies is homemade.
The bar serves a variety of natural ‘chichas’ (juices) made with our organic fruits (lemon, passion fruit, tamarind, and orange) and sweetened with raw cane honey.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, 6 days a week (we are closed on Mondays). From 7:00 am to 9:30 pm.
